Sunday, January 28, 2018 marked the next milestone in the history of the world’s biggest ropeway network.
Aside from the breathtaking views, visitors to Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, which lies close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, have been able to enjoy an additional attraction over the past two years – the construction of the summit station for the new Zugspitze cable car.
On December 17, 2017 at 12:17 p.m. local time, the new Stoos lift was opened for public operation.
