For the Winter Olympics 2014, 35 of those installations will be in service – one of them being the longest and fastest tricable ropeway of the world.

In the skiing regions of Krasnaya Polyana near Sochi, Doppelmayr builds a total of 40 ropeways. In order to cope with this challenge and to ensure trouble-free execution of all installations on the construction site up to 40 fitters and technicians of Doppelmayr are working on site. The new 3S Psekhako also respresents a superlative in ropeway engineering: It is the longest and fastest tricable ropeway of the world and will operate in the skiing region of Laura. Another 3S installation built in Rosa Khutor is equipped for transporting automobiles.
