Just in time for the start of the season 2013/14 a reversible aerial ropeway for 150 passengers will be opened. Only one year later Ischgl will add a 3S installation that sets a world record.

The skiing region of Ischgl is currently vibrating with construction works. Doppelmayr is building a reversible aerial ropeway on the Piz Val Gronda, all the while observing the most sparing line layout for the landscape. The 3S installation Pardatschgratbahn replaces a 4-seater gondola built in 1990 and will set a world record ropeway with its vertical rise of 1,251 m which is the biggest ever realized with a 3S installation.
