Flagship project for sustainable tourism is launched in Alpbach.

Alpbach is set to become a research center for pioneering tourism in the Alps, initiated by Doppelmayr, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeuge AG and Technoalpin.

Over the next three years, the innovative Mount ++ project will propel Alpbach into a research hub for spearhead tourism in the Alps. The initiative was started by the three world-leading companies in winter sports: Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeuge AG, Doppelmayr and Technoalpin. In addition to the environmentally-friendly use of the ski zone, the aim is also to find intelligent and practical solutions for energy and resource conservation in the area and wider region. Together with the Innsbruck Research Center alpS, they have found the ideal destination for this visionary project in Alpbach. The strong alliance between business, science, politics and tourism unites determination, expertise and vision to ensure the timely implementation of innovations.
